Chuck Johnson is a Martial Arts Instructor/ Writer and International Action Film Actor based in Tokyo, Japan, and Michigan, USA. He has been teaching for 16 years, holds ranks in Taekwondo, Judo, Capoeira, and Karate, and spent 10 years living in Asia. He is also an experienced bodyguard, and action film actor and while in Japan, worked on security details for some of Hollywood’s top celebrities, while also appearing in 7 Japanese action films himself.

In addition to Japanese, Chuck can also speak Korean, is the publisher of Phat English, and his writing has been featured on the websites for Japan Today, and Roda Magazine.
